Digital Visual Interface (DVI) is a video interface standard designed to maximize the visual quality of digital display devices such as LCD monitors and digital projectors.

There are 3 types: DVD-D (digital only), DVD-A (analog only), DVI-I (digial and analog)

Since DVI-D signal is compatible with HDMI video signal, HIPER DVI-HDMI cable (HLC-1D1H-180) allows conversion from DVI to HDMI or HDMI to DVI. Note that only video is transmitted.
