Extender™ is a cable managing system allows better arrangement of the cables inside your case. Instead of putting all kinds of connectors on PSU, PSU can now just provide the stand-alone Molex cable for Extender to extends to various connectors that you need, thus giving you more flexibility on arranging your cables and make your system tidy.

T-shape connector (a.k.a. T-connector) is a patented design by HIPER. It is a male-female connector that extends Molex (source) to a Molex as well as other connectors like SATA and floppy through the perpendicular wires.

Originally Extender was the feature of Type R series, later Extender has become one of the significant features of all HIPER mid and top class models.
